These terms ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Tasc Fashion Ltd ("tasc", "we", "us") for your use of tasc-fashion.ai, the tasc mobile app, our AI stylist Moda and related services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Businesses that want to list products on tasc or use the tasc widget should read our Partner Terms instead.
tasc is a fashion discovery and recommendation platform. We use data and AI, including Moda, to suggest products and outfits from independent partner brands that suit your profile and preferences. We do not sell the products, hold stock, take payment for goods or deliver them.
2. Who can use the Services
You must be at least 16 and able to enter a binding contract to create an account. You can browse some parts of the Services without an account. If you use the Services for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
3. Your account
Give accurate, current information. Your profile is used to personalise recommendations, so inaccurate information will reduce their quality.
Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account unless you tell us promptly that it has been compromised.
One person, one account. Do not share your account or create accounts to evade a suspension.
You can delete your account at any time in the app settings. Deleting it ends your access and these Terms, subject to the sections that are meant to continue.
4. Buying from partner brands
When you choose to buy, you are taken to the partner brand's own website or checkout, directly or through an affiliate network. Your contract for the goods is with that brand, not with tasc. The brand sets and is responsible for the price, availability, delivery, returns, refunds, product information and any dispute about the goods, and its terms and privacy notice apply to your purchase.
tasc may earn a commission from the brand when you buy through our links. This does not increase the price you pay. Prices, stock and images shown on tasc come from our partners' feeds and can be out of date; the brand's site shows the final position.
Nothing in these Terms limits your legal rights against the brand that sold you the goods, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
5. AI features and virtual models
Moda and our other AI features generate suggestions automatically. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, and they are not professional, medical or sizing advice.
Sizing and fit guidance is indicative only. Check size charts, materials and return policies with the brand before you buy.
Virtual models and virtual try-on previews are synthetic images created for styling reference. They do not depict real people, and they may not show how an item will look or fit on you. Partner product photographs show the real goods.
Do not rely on AI output for decisions with legal, financial or safety consequences, and do not enter confidential or sensitive information.
We are not responsible for loss caused by your reliance on AI output, to the extent the law allows.
6. Memberships, trials and payment
Some features need a paid membership (currently tasc+ and tasc pro). The plan, price, billing period and any free trial are shown at the point you sign up and on the membership page, and form part of your contract with us.
Billing. Memberships are billed in advance for each monthly or annual period through our payment provider, or through the app store if you buy there, in which case the store's terms and refund process also apply.
Renewal. Unless you cancel before the end of the current period, your membership renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price. We will tell you in advance of any price change, and you can cancel before it applies.
Free trials. A trial gives access to paid features for the stated period. If you do not cancel before it ends, it converts into a paid membership at the displayed price.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in your account settings. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-used periods except where the law requires.
Right to cancel (consumers). If you are a consumer you have 14 days from buying a membership to change your mind, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start the service during that period and then cancel, you must pay for the service you have already received. Starting a trial or using paid features during the 14 days is a request to start the service.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload or enter, such as wardrobe photos, profile information and chat messages ("Your Content"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, analyse and display Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the Services and as set out in our Privacy Notice. You confirm that you have the rights to Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the law. You can delete items from your wardrobe or delete your account to end the licence, subject to reasonable backup and legal retention periods.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
break the law or use the Services to infringe anyone's rights;
upload content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, sexually explicit, or that shows other people without their permission;
attempt to access accounts, systems or data you are not authorised to access, or probe, scan or test our security;
scrape, crawl, harvest or copy the Services or their data, or build a competing product from them, other than as we permit in writing;
overload, disrupt or interfere with the Services, including through automated access beyond normal use;
reverse engineer, decompile or extract the source of the Services or our models, except where the law allows;
use Moda to generate or ask for harmful, deceptive or unlawful content, or try to bypass its safeguards;
use tasc recommendations, prices or images commercially, or resell access to the Services.
We may remove content and suspend or end access where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken, and will tell you why where we can.
9. Intellectual property
The Services, including our software, models, recommendations, design, text, and the tasc and Moda names and logos, belong to tasc or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Product names, brands and images belong to their owners and are shown under licence from our partners. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for your own non-commercial purposes in line with these Terms. All other rights are reserved.
10. Third-party sites
The Services link to partner brands and other sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, privacy practices or availability, and a link is not an endorsement.
11. Availability and changes to the Services
We aim to keep the Services available and accurate, but they are provided on an "as available" basis and may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a feature of a paid membership in a way that materially reduces what you paid for, you can cancel and we will refund the unused part of your current period.
12. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law, and it does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, if we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss that was not foreseeable. Loss is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of our breach or if you and we contemplated it when you accepted these Terms.
We are not responsible for the goods, services, delivery, returns or conduct of partner brands, or for losses arising from your reliance on AI output, third-party sites, or events beyond our reasonable control. If you use the Services for business purposes, we are not liable to you for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss.
13. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially or repeatedly break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if continuing would put the Services or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to fix the problem first. Sections that by their nature should continue (including those on Your Content, intellectual property, liability and governing law) survive termination.
14. Complaints
If you have a complaint, email hello@tasc-fashion.ai and we will acknowledge it within five working days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. Complaints about goods or delivery should be raised with the partner brand that sold them.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, the law or our business. We will give you reasonable notice of material changes by email or in the Services. If you do not agree to a change, you can stop using the Services and delete your account before it takes effect; continuing to use them afterwards means you accept the updated Terms.
16. General
Entire agreement. These Terms, our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy, and any membership terms shown at purchase are the whole agreement between us about the Services.
Severability. If a part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues in effect.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
Transfer. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a successor to our business, and will tell you if we do.
Third parties. Nobody else has rights to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
Electronic communications. You agree we may contact you electronically, including by email and in-app notices, about the Services.
17. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live, and you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws there. Business users submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
